The Bush Foundation and Citizens League invite residents in several Minnesota cities tonight and through the week to weigh in on the state budget this week as part of their Common Cents project.
Participants will be able to identify their values and priorities, such as taking a balanced approach to budget shortfalls. These community events are designed to be informative, fast-paced and interactive, in a nonpartisan space where Minnesotans can learn, share and discuss the challenges ahead. The findings of these community discussions will be shared with the Governor and Legislature.
The policy debate doesn’t just happen at the Capitol in St. Paul – it needs to happen all around Minnesota, so join in! Locations, dates and times are listed below. More information at the Citizen’s League website.
