GAMC, in its original form, does not include cuts to adult mental health funding. Mental health grants serve the very same people GAMC serves. These grants would be maintained if we returned GAMC in its original form and managed care would continue to reimburse and coordinate care for GAMC recipients. Governor Pawlenty appears to be conveniently optomistic about this “new plan” as he is leaving office.
